Style & Design
The Marquess has the same fine proportions and detailing as the Georgian, but uses a curved profile for the top row of panels. This gives a subtle flourish to its elegant looks and an appearance that blends well with a range of different house styles. You can highlight the handle by choosing from Hörmann’s list of options: stainless steel, polished steel or cast aluminium in white, silver, gold, bronze or rustic finishes. Matching garage side doors are available as an option.

Operating Gear

Hörmann offer a choice of well-engineered lifting gear for their up and over doors. These meet exacting European standards and ensure smooth, safe and reliable operation. Single sizes are fitted with canopy or retractable gear. Canopy gear leaves about one third of the door outside the garage when opened. Retractable gear allows nearly all the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened, but requires additional horizontal tracks. Hörmann fit retractable gear to their double doors to manage the extra size and weight.

Materials and Finish

Hörmann’s galvanised steel garage doors are engineered for durability, reliability and safe operation. The combination of steel with multiple latching points also makes them very secure. The Marquess garage door is factory finished in a choice of high quality powder colour coatings. Traffic White is the standard colour – Black, Brown, Light Blue, Green, Red, or Steel Blue are all options.

Automation

Marquess is available in a selection of Hörmann’s standard single sizes and two double sizes.
