Style and Design

Hörmann’s Horizontal is a simple and elegant ribbed design delivering quality and a timeless style. Its horizontal ribs are formed by a series of narrow channels across the face of the door. The Horizontal style is available in both a side door and an up and over garage door – so you can achieve a consistent appearance throughout your garage. A side door provides convenient personal access to your garage without opening the main garage door.

Operating Gear

Hörmann steel side doors open and close easily using three hinges. They can be fitted to open outwards or inwards and ordered for left or right hand hanging. A black lever handle with euro-cylinder lock is supplied as standard. You can also choose from Silver, Brass, White, Rustic, Bronze, polished or stainless steel lever handles as options.

Materials and Finish

Hörmann’s galvanised steel side doors are engineered for durability, security and reliability. The Horizontal garage side door is factory finished in a choice of high quality powder colour coatings. Traffic White is the standard colour – Black, Brown, Light Blue, Green, Red, or Steel Blue are options. 

Automation

Hörmann side doors can only be manually operated.
