Henderson Lincoln Timber

Style & Design
The Lincoln panel design emphasises slim vertical and rectangular panels. Cedar mouldings are used over marine plywood to create the relief and reinforce the height of a garage. A choice of factory-finished Dark Oak or Mahogany stains are available as options. The Lincoln is supplied as standard treated with a translucent water repellent preservative for you to stain at home in the colour of your choice. The Lincoln is a simple and appealing design that enhances most house styles.

Operating Gear

Henderson’s range of doors are designed for ease of operation using one of three types of “up and over” operating gear. Canopy employs no horizontal tracks protruding into the garage with the whole mechanism mounted to the fixing frame. When opened, one third of the door remains outside the opening to form a canopy. Tracked gear allows the door to retract fully into the garage space on horizontal tracks. Optimiser gear fits entirely to the door frame and incorporates tracks mounted to the door itself. This unique lifting gear is ideally suited to remote control electric operation. 

Materials and Finish

Henderson constructs its timber garage doors from solid Cedar boards, or solid Cedar mouldings on marine plywood. All timber comes from replenishable sources and is kiln dried before use. A box section steel chassis is used to enhance rigidity and security. The timber is treated with a micro porous water repellent sealant to enhance its durability and this may be finished in-situ in a suitable wood stain coating. Some styles are available in factory finished dark oak or mahogany. Timber doors require regular re-treatments to maintain the beauty of the wood and its long life.
