Garador Shaftesbury

Style & Design
Garador’s Shaftesbury features a smooth curving profile formed by its top moulding. Seven slim vertical mouldings create upright panels beneath this and contribute to the appearance of a distinctive and traditional timber door. The Shaftesbury’s understated design will blend well with older styles of house. Its standard black handle can be changed for an optional brass effect, chrome effect or white handle.

Operating Gear

Garador have fitted their up and over designs with the two most common forms of operating gear available on this variety of door – canopy and retractable. Canopy is one of the most popular designs for its easy upward swing motion, resting on the top lip of the garage entrance frame. Retractable acts a little differently – two extra rollers guide the door completely inside for extra headroom. With this option, Retractable Gear Plus is also available for additional width if you need a little more room for safer parking.

Materials and Finish

Garador’s timber garage doors combine the benefits of modern engineering with the warmth and beauty of real wood. The Shaftesbury is made from solid cedar mouldings over exterior grade plywood mounted on a steel frame. The construction gives strength and durability to the doors – which will keep their looks and last a lifetime with regular timber treatments. All Garador timber doors are supplied with a neutralising base stain ready for on-site finishing.

Automation

Garador’s up and over canopy and retractable doors can be automated with electric operator kits. These offer the convenience and safety of remote controlled operation from your car or home.
