Cardale Sheraton

Style & Design
Cardale’s Sheraton design is based on rectangular panels arranged in four columns and three rows. A single door has twelve panels and a double door twenty four. The top row of panels can be ordered with windows to let light into your garage with the door shut. The choice of feature, stippled or lattice glazing also enhances the appearance of the Sheraton and provides a distinguished ‘foil’ for traditionally styled houses.

Operating Gear

Cardales range of doors are designed for ease of operation using one of two types of “up and over” operating gear. Safelift Canopy (Trackless) employs no horizontal tracks protruding into the garage with the whole mechanism mounted to the fixing frame. When opened, one third of the door remains outside the opening to form a canopy. Slideaway gear allows the door to retract fully into the garage space on horizontal tracks. Maximiser Slideaway gear for single doors employs cranked arms at wing mirror height to allow extra drive thru width. 

Operating Gear

For an easy lift, we recommend the retractable lifting gear, which will go completely inside the garage door once opened. However, canopy lifting gear is favourable for those who want extra room on the sides of the garage for swift parking. The Maximiser II option, which uses cranked lifting arms, further reduces the need for space. While canopy gear has a portion left sticking outside the door frame, it doesn’t require horizontal runners to take the door in to the garage space.

Materials and Finish

Cardale’s steel garage doors are manufactured from premium grade galvanised steel. A number of treatments are added to produce a corrosion resistant garage door. The Sheraton is available in five factory finishes:

• Prima
• Weatherwhite
• Weatherbrown
• Weathergrain Golden Oak
• Weathergrain Rosewood

Prima has a primer coat, allowing you to paint Sheraton doors in your choice of colour. Weatherwhite, Weatherbrown and Weathergrain are Plastisol coatings. These are very durable and resistant to fading or colour change. They provide a low maintenance finish on the outside of the door.
