Cardale Chevron

Style & Design
Cardale’s Chevron design will make an impact and create a feature of your garage door. It is based on a framed pair of diagonally ribbed panels forming the chevron effect in a single door. Four of these panels are used in double doors and create a particularly striking and energetic appearance. The Chevron will make an individual statement in contemporary styles of house architecture.

Operating Gear

Cardale’s single sized doors are fitted with canopy or retractable lifting gear. Double sizes use retractable gear. Retractable gear allows nearly all the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened. Canopy leaves up to one third outside, but has no tracks projecting into the garage space. Cardale’s canopy gear is called Safelift and there are two versions of retractable gear: Slideaway and optional Maximiser II with cranked lifting arms. The Maximiser II creates a wider drive through space for vehicles when its lifting arms fully open the garage door.

Materials and Finish

Cardale’s steel garage doors are manufactured from premium grade galvanised steel. A number of treatments are added to produce a corrosion resistant garage door. The Chevron is available in three factory finishes:

• Prima
• Weatherwhite
• Weatherbrown

Prima has a primer coat, allowing you to paint Chevron doors in your choice of colour. Weatherwhite and Weatherbrown are Plastisol coatings. These are very durable and resistant to fading or colour change. They provide a low maintenance finish on the outside of the door.

Chevron is available in some of Cardale’s standard single or standard double sizes.
