Style & Design
Cardale’s Aspen single door design produces a pair of panels moulded to create the appearance of vertical timber boarding. Double doors use a pair of these designs. The clean lines and understated detail recreate the warmth and character of timber, in a very low maintenance finish. The Aspen’s wood grain effect finish complements wooden doors and window frames in modern or traditional house styles.

Operating Gear

Cardales range of doors are designed for ease of operation using one of two types of “up and over” operating gear. Safelift Canopy (Trackless) employs no horizontal tracks protruding into the garage with the whole mechanism mounted to the fixing frame. When opened, one third of the door remains outside the opening to form a canopy. Slideaway gear allows the door to retract fully into the garage space on horizontal tracks. Maximiser Slideaway gear for single doors employs cranked arms at wing mirror height to allow extra drive thru width. 

Materials and Finish

Cardale’s GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) garage doors are manufactured from the mould. They have integral steel stiffeners for enhanced strength, rigidity and security. Glasswood is a highly detailed wood grain effect finish applied to the outside of the door. This offers the appearance of timber in a very low maintenance finish. Glasswood is available in white, Magnolia, Light Maple, Bleached Oak, Light Oak, Honey Beech, Hazel, Golden Brown, Dark Oak, Teak, Chestnut, Rosewood, Red Mahogany, Dark Mahogany, Bronze Sheen and Ebony wood tones. The rear of the door can be ordered in standard Premium or optional Deluxe white finish. Deluxe has an additional flowcoat applied to produce a smooth semi-gloss finish and reduce translucency. The option also includes a brass effect handle.
