Style & Design
Cardale’s Shakespeare side hinged garage doors feature a strong top frame that slope in a straight line from each side of the door to the centre. A pair of doors uses a mirror image of the design with three panels on each. Chamfer detailed cedar mouldings create the frames and produce the panel relief. The Shakespeare produces a high quality appearance in a door with a traditional ‘flavour’.

Operating Gear

Cardale’s side hinged doors are supplied pre-framed as standard and come complete with a brass effect Euro profile night latch and deadlock. A pair of door stays, two monkey tail shoots bolts and four anti-drop anchored dog bolt door hinges per leaf.

A luxury pack is available consisting of three point locking for the active leaf, a foot operated floor bolt for the inactive leaf and “monkey fur” draft sealing.

Materials and Finish

Shakespeare Timber Classic garage doors are manufactured from solid cedar mouldings fixed to high grade external plywood. They have an aluminium or steel chassis to brace the door panel. Classic garage doors are supplied in a basecoat timber treatment or fully finished in a choice of Light Oak, Mahogany, Walnut or Burnt Oak. Regular timber treatments are required to preserve timber doors and keep them looking their best.

Automation

Cardale’s side hinged garage doors are designed for manual operation.

Sizes

Cardale’s side hinged doors are available in standard and made to measure single sizes. A pair of doors is required to fill a garage opening.
