Cardale’s Timber Classic Chevron side hinged garage doors feature a strong chevron design. Each door has diagonally mounted tongue and grooved boards in a chamfer detailed cedar frame. The pair is created from doors with boards mounted on opposing diagonals to create the chevron effect. The natural variations of colour in the cedar grain produce a warm and striking appearance in the Chevron.

Operating Gear

Cardale’s side hinged doors are supplied pre-framed as standard and come complete with a brass effect Euro profile night latch and deadlock. A pair of door stays, two monkey tail shoots bolts and four anti-drop anchored dog bolt door hinges per leaf.

A luxury pack is available consisting of three point locking for the active leaf, a foot operated floor bolt for the inactive leaf and “monkey fur” draft sealing.

Materials and Finish

Chevron Timber Classic garage doors are manufactured from solid cedar tongue and groove boards and mouldings. They have an aluminium or steel chassis to brace the door panel. Classic garage doors are supplied in a basecoat timber treatment or fully finished in a choice of Light Oak, Mahogany, Walnut or Burnt Oak. Regular timber treatments are required to preserve timber doors and keep them looking their best.

Automation

Cardale’s side hinged garage doors are designed for manual operation.

Sizes

Cardale’s timber side hinged doors are available in standard and made to measure single sizes. A pair of doors is required to fill a garage opening.
