Style & Design
The York is a well-proportioned Georgian style panel garage door. Its crisply defined panels are laid out in a three by three pattern on single sizes and a pair of these on doubles. The York blends well with many house styles and is supplied as standard in a white primer coat for finishing in your colour choice in-situ. It can also be ordered in an optional fully finished Plastisol White or Mahogany.

Operating Gear

Henderson’s range of doors are designed for ease of operation using one of three types of “up and over” operating gear. Canopy employs no horizontal tracks protruding into the garage with the whole mechanism mounted to the fixing frame. When opened, one third of the door remains outside the opening to form a canopy. Tracked gear allows the door to retract fully into the garage space on horizontal tracks. Optimiser gear fits entirely to the door frame and incorporates tracks mounted to the door itself. This unique lifting gear is ideally suited to remote control electric operation. 

Materials and Finish

Henderson constructs Castle garage doors from galvanised steel to produce a strong and corrosion resistant garage door. The galvanised steel goes through a multi-layer pre-treatment process with a Plastisol white primer supplied as a standard finish. Plastisol is a flexible vinyl coating bonded to the door during manufacture. Other optional Plastisol finishes are: White, Mahogany, British Racing Green, Burgundy Red, Black, Terracota, Mushroom, Van Dyke Brown or Night Blue. Please note that colour options vary by door style.
