Style & Design
Hörmann’s Caxton creates the appearance of a pair of garage doors while retaining the popular up and over operation. The design is based on two framed panels defined with crisp vertical ribbing and a neat finish that maintains a solid steel appearance that harks back to a vintage design. The framing variation provides a more distinctive look, but remains a traditional style that works well with a variety of houses.

Operating Gear

Hörmann offer a choice of well-engineered lifting gear for their up and over doors. These meet exacting European standards and ensure smooth, safe and reliable operation. Single sizes are fitted with canopy or retractable gear. Canopy gear leaves about one third of the door outside the garage when opened. Retractable gear allows nearly all the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened, but requires additional horizontal tracks.

Materials and Finish

Hörmann’s galvanised steel garage doors are engineered for durability, reliability and safe operation. The combination of steel with multiple latching points also makes them very secure. The Caxton garage door is factory finished in a choice of high quality powder colour coatings. Traffic White is the standard colour – Black, Brown, Light Blue, Green, Red, or Steel Blue are all options.
