Style & Design
Hörmann’s Chevron design uses two opposing panels of sharply defined diagonal ribs to create a striking Chevron effect. The two panels are divided by a central pillar and suggest a pair of garage doors. A Chevron garage door creates a lively visual impact, making a feature of your garage and contributing to the appeal of your home.

Operating Gear

Hörmann offer a choice of well-engineered lifting gear for their up and over doors. These meet exacting European standards and ensure smooth, safe and reliable operation. Single sizes are fitted with canopy or retractable gear. Canopy gear leaves about one third of the door outside the garage when opened. Retractable gear allows nearly all the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened, but requires additional horizontal tracks. Hörmann fit retractable gear to their double doors to manage the extra size and weight.

Materials and Finish

Hörmann’s galvanised steel garage doors are engineered for durability, reliability and safe operation. The combination of steel with multiple latching points also makes them very secure. The Chevron garage door is factory finished in a choice of high quality powder colour coatings. Traffic White is the standard colour – Black, Brown, Light Blue, Green, Red, or Steel Blue are all options.

Automation

Chevron is available in Hörmann’s standard single sizes and two double sizes.
