Style & Design
Cardale’s Berkeley Horizontal has two framed vertical panels containing horizontal ribbing. The deep crisp profiling produces an effect like shuttered doors and blends well with either modern or traditional house styles. Brass effect handles are supplied as standard, but black handles are also available to order.

Operating Gear

Cardales range of doors are designed for ease of operation using one of two types of “up and over” operating gear. Safelift Canopy (Trackless) employs no horizontal tracks protruding into the garage with the whole mechanism mounted to the fixing frame. When opened, one third of the door remains outside the opening to form a canopy. Slideaway gear allows the door to retract fully into the garage space on horizontal tracks. Maximiser Slideaway gear for single doors employs cranked arms at wing mirror height to allow extra drive thru width. 

Materials and Finish

Cardale’s Elite garage doors are moulded from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and mounted on a steel frame. The resulting construction is strong and lightweight. ABS is a tough and flexible material that is highly resistant to impacts. All of Cardale’s ABS doors are produced in a low maintenance, UV-fast brilliant white, low gloss finish. The steel frames are available in a choice of Prima primed or Plastisol coating.
