Cardale Adlington

Style & Design
Cardale’s Adlington design uses a frame to four panels each containing vertical ribs. The frame and ribs have a shallow profile, creating an understated appearance from the Adlington garage door. Black handles are supplied as standard and there is an optional brass effect handle to complete the garage door. The Adlington’s timeless feel is likely to blend with most house styles.

Operating Gear

Cardale’s single sized doors are fitted with canopy or retractable lifting gear. Double sizes use retractable gear. Retractable gear allows nearly all the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened. Canopy leaves up to one third outside, but has no tracks projecting into the garage space. Cardale’s canopy gear is called Safelift and there are two versions of retractable gear: Slideaway and optional Maximiser II with cranked lifting arms. The Maximiser II creates a wider drive through space for vehicles when its lifting arms fully open the garage door.

Materials and Finish

Cardale’s steel garage doors are manufactured from premium grade galvanised steel. A number of treatments are added to produce a corrosion resistant garage door. The Adlington is available in six factory finishes:

• Prima
• Weatherwhite
• Weatherblack
• Weatherbrown
• Weathergrain Golden Oak
• Weathergrain Rosewood

Prima is a primer coat, allowing you to paint the Adlington in your colour choice. Weatherwhite, Weatherblack, Weatherbrown and Weathergrain are Plastisol coatings. These are very durable and resistant to fading or colour change. They provide a low maintenance finish on the outside of the door.

Sizes

The Adlington is only available in a selection of Cardale’s standard single sizes.
