Style & Design
Garador’s Derwent is designed to look like a classic pair of timber garage doors with vertical boarding and windows at the top. The windows can be fitted with a choice of standard, diamond or cross designed glazing units. The door can be fitted with your choice of optional brass effect, chrome effect or white diecast metal handle.

Operating Gear

When selecting your mode of operation, think about how your garage space and size will affect how you park and what you want to store. Canopy lifting gear is ideal for a swift lift and drop door system that props up against the edge of the garage door frame when raised, and affords excellent space to park wider vehicles. Retractable gear requires a larger clearance area, but with its horizontal rollers can fold flat next to the ceiling of the garage. Retractable Gear Plus affords extra support for easy usage as well as increase the access width for parking.

Materials and Finish

Garador’s GRP garage doors are resilient, light and low maintenance. Their integral steel frame provides rigidity and security. The Derwent is supplied in a choice of eight stylish woodgrain finishes: Cherry Oak, Dark Mahogany, Dark Oak, Ebony, Golden Brown, Honey, Mahogany or Matt White. This provides you with a timber effect and a virtually maintenance free finish. A white flowcoat is an option for the inside face of the door. This produces a smoother finish and reduces the translucency of the GRP.

Automation

Garador’s up and over canopy and retractable doors can be automated with electric operator kits. These offer the convenience and safety of remote controlled operation from your car or home.

Derwent is available in Garador’s standard single sizes or a purpose-made single size.
