Style & Design
The Chelsea design from Cardale makes a big feature of a ‘sunrise’ arched window across the top section of the garage door. Radiating ribs create six segments in the window that is available with black smoked or clear stippled glazing. It contrasts with the regular panels below and creates a strong visual impact. A single door has twelve crisply moulded panels plus the sunrise window. A double door uses a pair of these. The Chelsea design makes a distinctive feature of your garage entrance.

Operating Gear

Cardales range of doors are designed for ease of operation using one of two types of “up and over” operating gear. Safelift Canopy (Trackless) employs no horizontal tracks protruding into the garage with the whole mechanism mounted to the fixing frame. When opened, one third of the door remains outside the opening to form a canopy. Slideaway gear allows the door to retract fully into the garage space on horizontal tracks. Maximiser Slideaway gear for single doors employs cranked arms at wing mirror height to allow extra drive thru width. 

Materials and Finish

Cardale’s GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) garage doors are manufactured from the mould. They have integral steel stiffeners for enhanced strength, rigidity and security. Glasswhite produces a high gloss and low maintenance white finish on the front of the door. The rear of the door can be ordered in standard Premium or optional Deluxe finish. Deluxe has an additional flowcoat applied to produce a smooth semi-gloss finish and reduce translucency. The option also includes a brass effect handle.
