Cardale Brompton

Style & Design
The design of Cardale’s Brompton is based on softly profiled square panels – twelve on single and twenty four on double sizes. The grid of four columns and three rows produces a strong symmetrical appearance that complements white windows and traditional or modern house styles. A brass effect handle is an option in place of the standard black handle.

Operating Gear

Cardale’s single sized doors are fitted with canopy or retractable lifting gear. Double sizes use retractable gear. Retractable gear allows nearly all the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened. Canopy leaves up to one third outside, but has no tracks projecting into the garage space. Cardale’s canopy gear is called Safelift and there are two versions of retractable gear: Slideaway and optional Maximiser II with cranked lifting arms. The Maximiser II creates a wider drive through space for vehicles when its lifting arms fully open the garage door.

Materials and Finish

Cardale’s steel garage doors are manufactured from premium grade galvanised steel. A number of treatments are added to produce a corrosion resistant garage door. The Brompton is available in Weatherwhite Plastisol finish. Plastisol is very durable and resistant to fading or colour change. It provides a low maintenance finish on the outside of the door.
