Style & Design
Garador’s Cavendish is a cost effective way to own a timber garage door. Its simple and stylish design uses narrow vertical boards of exterior plywood over the front face of the door. This produces a garage door with a contemporary feel and Scandinavian flavour. The design is will work best with houses that emphasise simplicity rather than ornamentation.

Operating Gear

Canopy and Retractable lifting systems vary on a number of key factors with Garador’s design. The canopy design affords a minimal lift system that requires little effort and uses just two vertical rollers to rotate the door at a right angle whilst traveling upwards. The retractable gear adds an extra dimension by pulling the top of the door back into the garage on an extra set of rollers, thus bringing the entire door inside for easier and safer housing, and the Retractable Gear Plus add-on allows extra parking space usually afforded by the canopy design.

Materials and Finish

The Cavendish is made from high grade exterior quality plywood mounted on a steel frame. The construction combines the character of timber with the strength and durability of steel. All Garador timber doors are supplied with a neutralising base stain ready for on-site finishing. It’s important to maintain a finished coat to retain the character and durability of the plywood.

Automation

Garador’s up and over canopy and retractable doors can be automated with electric operator kits. These offer the convenience and safety of remote controlled operation from your car or home.

Cavendish is available in Garador’s standard single and standard double sizes.
