Henderson’s Durham features horizontal ribs defined by sharp channels in a timeless design. The Durham is supplied in white primer or from a choice of nine Plastisol colour options. Constructed from robust steel, this up and over door provides excellent home security in an understated design. This model can be chosen to blend with your preferred colour scheme and the particular style of your house.

Operating Gear

Henderson’s range of doors are designed for ease of operation using one of three types of “up and over” operating gear. Canopy employs no horizontal tracks protruding into the garage with the whole mechanism mounted to the fixing frame. When opened, one third of the door remains outside the opening to form a canopy. Tracked gear allows the door to retract fully into the garage space on horizontal tracks. Optimiser gear fits entirely to the door frame and incorporates tracks mounted to the door itself. This unique lifting gear is ideally suited to remote control electric operation. 

Materials and Finish

Henderson constructs Castle garage doors from galvanised steel to produce a strong and corrosion resistant garage door. The galvanised steel goes through a multi-layer pre-treatment process with a Plastisol white primer supplied as a standard finish. Plastisol is a flexible vinyl coating bonded to the door during manufacture. Other optional Plastisol finishes are: White, Mahogany, British Racing Green, Burgundy Red, Black, Terracota, Mushroom, Van Dyke Brown or Night Blue. Please note that colour options vary by door style.
