Hormann Stamford Series 2000

Style & Design
The Stamford design incorporates a wide semi-circular window above eight rectangular panels. The window has a ‘sunrise’ pattern of glazing beads that are filled with crystal or clear glass panes. The finely profiled panels and glazing beads give the Stamford a feeling of distinctive and durable elegance. This is a garage door for more traditional house styles and white window frames.

Operating Gear

Hörmann styles of door come with two options of mechanism for operation depending on what kind of doors you wish to order. The first, the Canopy option, is usually fitted on single doors for an easy lift and drop. Running on vertical rails, the door is flipped to a right angle during elevation. The second option, retractable gear, allows the door to run inside the garage using a pair of horizontal rails fitted at the top of both garage walls. This latter option is purpose built for use on Hörmann’s double doors.

Materials and Finish

Hörmann’s GRP garage doors are engineered for durability, reliability and low maintenance. They use a galvanised and powder coated steel frame to support the GRP moulded infill. This combines the strength and security of steel with the low weight and minimum maintenance of GRP. The Stamford is offered in White Supersmooth finish.

Sizes

The Stamford is available in four widths up to 9’0” (2743mm) and two heights 6’6” (1981mm) or 7’0” (2134mm).
