Wessex Doors Welland ABS

Style & Design
The Welland recreates an historic architectural style in a thoroughly modern material. A strong frame with central pillar divides two vertically ribbed panels. The top of these forms a distinctive flat arch that rises from each side of the door to form a pinch at the top centre. A strong top moulding reinforces this shape and contributes to the traditional feel of the Welland.

Operating Gear

Wessex offers a choice of Safelift or Slideaway lifting gear for their one piece up and over garage doors. The Safelift overhead gear is compact and simple, but leaves about one third of the door outside the garage when opened. Slideaway gear has smoother operation and allows nearly all the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened. Slideaway gear is ideal for automation by electric operators.

Materials and Finish

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a modern flexible material that creates a strong and lightweight garage door with excellent impact resistance. It produces sharp, detailed and deep profiles that characterise the Wessex range of ABS doors. All are produced in a low maintenance, UV-fast brilliant white, low gloss finish.
