Style & Design
The Tewkesbury is a well-proportioned panel design from Wessex. The crisply defined panels feature strongly in a balanced and classical appearance, set by a smooth white surface. A single door has twelve panels and a double twenty-four, arranged in an eight column by three row grid pattern. The top row of panels can be glazed in a choice of black opaque or stippled Perspex. The Tewkesbury is a distinctive and distinguished garage door that matches white PVCu windows and more traditional styles of architecture.

Operating Gear

Wessex offers a choice of Safelift or Slideaway lifting gear for their one piece up and over garage doors. The Safelift overhead gear is compact and simple, but leaves about one third of the door outside the garage when opened. Slideaway gear has smoother operation and allows nearly all the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened. Slideaway gear is ideal for automation by electric operators.
