Style & Design
The Wessex Stroud is a classic symmetrical panel design. Nine framed and sharply defined square panels form a single door. There are eighteen on a double door, arranged in a pair of three-by-three grids. The smooth white finish on the outer face of the door reinforces its classic quality. A choice of glazing options is available for the Stroud; Standard black opaque makes a strong contrast with the white frame and panels, whereas stippled Perspex can be featured with diamond or square leading. The Stroud is a distinctive and distinguished garage door that can be matched with traditional or contemporary house styles.

Operating Gear

Wessex offers a choice of Safelift or Slideaway lifting gear for their one piece up and over garage doors. The Safelift overhead gear is compact and simple, but leaves about one third of the door outside the garage when opened. Slideaway gear has an operation which allows all of the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened. Slideaway gear is ideal for automation by electric operators.

Materials and Finish

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a modern flexible material that creates a strong and lightweight garage door with excellent dent resistance. It produces sharp, detailed and deep profiles that characterise the Wessex range of ABS doors. All are produced in a low maintenance, UV-fast brilliant white, low gloss finish.
