Style & Design
The Wessex Broadway design recreates the appearance of a traditional timber and part-glazed pair of garage doors. A pair of framed lower panels of sharply detailed vertical ribbing nod towards vintage timber boards. Above these are a pair of an eight pane window frames, supplied with black opaque glazing as standard which contrasts with the white finish of the door. Plain stippled Perspex glazing is an option if you want to let more daylight into your garage when the door is closed.

Operating Gear

Wessex offers a choice of Safelift or Slideaway lifting gear for their one piece up and over garage doors. The Safelift overhead gear is compact and simple, but leaves about one third of the door outside the garage when opened. Slideaway gear has an operation which allows all of the door to be stored inside the garage when fully opened. Slideaway gear is ideal for automation by electric operators.

Materials and Finish

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a modern flexible material that creates a strong and lightweight garage door with excellent dent resistance. It produces sharp, detailed and deep profiles that characterise the Wessex range of ABS doors. All are produced in a low maintenance, UV-fast brilliant white, low gloss finish.
