Composite Doors
Homesafe house doors combine inner strength with outer beauty. Each made to measure door is constructed from a combination of materials. This composite construction ensures a long lasting and low maintenance door that will distinguish you home for years to come.
Laminated Subframe
A high quality laminated timber subframe is the foundation of the door. The laminated timber and dovetail jointing provide strength and stability, so your door won't warp or shrink.
All internal cavities are filled with high density expanded polystyrene. This material has excellent insulating properties - keeping the warmth in and the cold out.
Decoratively Glazed House Doors
A high impact thermoplastic skin is used to face the door. This provides a distinguished appearance, producing sharply detailed panels in a range of colours or woodgrain finishes. It eliminates the need for painting or staining, simply requiring a simple wash down to ensure you keep up appearances.
A wide variety of decorative glazing options give you the chance to make a great first impression. All Homesafe doors are supplied with 4mm toughened glass as standard, meeting the BS6262 standard in relation to human impact. Laminated glass is an option where additional security or safety is required. Enhanced thermal performance is available from low emissivity glass.
Homesafe has developed a patented glazing system for its house doors. This enables toughened or laminated double glazed units to be fitted securely without adhesive or messy silicones. It also means that glazed units can be changed or replaced from the inside, without the need for special training or new parts.
